ROBERTSON RIDE - Sunday 9th Sept

posted: 9 September 2007

ROBERTSON RIDE - Sunday 9th  Sept

It's time for another one of the Tri Clubs premier events !  The Robertson ride is a great day out for the whole family whether your a participant or just there as part of the support crew. Either way we all start at Sutherland, have breakfast at Wollongong and end up at the Historic Robertson Pub.
You don't have to ride all the way, in fact you can start and finish wherever you wish.

Here are some of the options:
Option 1........  Start with the "A" Pack ride all the way and contest for the "King Of The Mountain"
The rules for this pack will be set out by Bike Captain "Tattoo" Dave before rolling out.

Option 2.......  Start slightly earlier with the "B" Pack riding at a slower pace all the way to Robertson.

Option 3.......  Start at Wollongong after breakfast and ride the 50kms to Robertson.

Option 4.......  Start at the base of the Mountain and ride the 12kms to Robertson Pub.
The Mountain itself is steepest at the bottom and gets easier the further you climb, and you don't have to be Cadel Evans to ride it.
Start 6:30am at Sutherland Pool Car Park Finish approx. 12pm at Robertson Pub
Take plenty of food and drinks for the ride, money and a change of clothes for the Pub.
There's usually plenty of transport available for cartage of gear, bikes and weary bodies, but is best to try and organise this in advance.

See you there !
