MOOLOOLABA FESTIVAL -29/30th March 2008
The "Senior Northern" arm of Cronulla Tri Club is alive and well with Phil Scott and Trevor Mathews wanting me to pass on a warm hello to all their Southern counterparts.
The warm weather seems to agree with them, and showed in their results. Racing over the Olympic distance Peter Holgate and Trevor finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the 60-64 yrs, with the evergreen Bob Southwell winning the 75-79 yrs, he is truly amazing.
Well done to Peter Panayoutiouiouiouiouiou [Peter Pan], Jake Eykhof and Duane Ibanez for stepping up to the Olympic distance for the first time, and Ellen Clifford for winning her age group in the 1k Ocean Swim.
