At Cronulla Tri Club we want to make it as easy as possible for you to take up this wonderful sport by providing all the help you need to get started.
CLUB RACING
This is the best way to get started - the Club regularly holds Triathlons, Duathlons and Aquathlons, with all Races held in locations that are free from traffic.
TRIATHLONS – held once a Month during Summer , we swim at Sutherland Pool, then Ride and Run around the Cycle Track. The distances are varied to suit any age and ability, you will need Goggles / Swimmers and a bike in good working order (Road, Mountain or BMX) a Helmet and running shoes.
DUATHLONS – held once a Month on Saturday mornings, and weekly on Sunday afternoons in Winter, they involve a Run / Ride /Run, around the Sutherland Cycle Track. Same thing again, the distances are varied to suit any age and ability, all you need is a bike in good working order (Road, Mountain or BMX) a Helmet and running shoes.
AQUATHLONS – held once a Month at the Gunnamatta Pavilion during Summer, they involve a Swim and a Run. We swim inside the enclosed Pool area and Run within the grounds of the Park. The distances are varied to suit any age and ability, all you need are Goggles, Swimmers and running shoes.

CLUB TRAINING
CLUB RUN – held every Wednesday leaving at 6:30pm from our Clubhouse at the Gunnamatta Pavilion, we cater for runner’s of all abilities. Before the Run we make announcements about the Club and how our members fared in the many Races that are held, and at the conclusion of the Run we socialise over a refreshing drink.
BEGINNERS BIKE PACK AND SKILLS - Saturday - Hume Rd, Cronulla
7.00am (during Daylight Savings)
8.00am (non Daylight Savings)
For those that are new to the Club, or Members who are building up their riding to progress to the Sunday ride, and are interested in learning how to ride in a Bike Pack and learn some Bike handling skills, meet us on the Southern side of Cronulla Golf course in Hume Rd Cronulla, the ride will head to Kurnell where we conduct our skills session, then return to Cronulla for Coffee and a chat.
Note - this Pack does not ride when there is a Saturday morning Club Race, Husky Tri Festival, Richie Walker, Ironman Australia, NSW Club Champs or any other major Club Event.
