Welcome to the 24th Richie Walker Memorial Aquathlon.

This year's Race will again be held in the beautiful surrounds of Gunnamatta Park and Bay.

The swim for over 16yrs is in Gunnamatta Bay, starting on the shore line of the bay beside the swimming baths and for the under 16yrs the swim is held wholly within the enclosed baths for the safety of our younger competitors, and the highly reduced water depth.

The run is cross country style, all within the boundaries of  Gunnamatta Park.

This event was designed to honour lost member Richie and bring all abilities into one event for a good cause.

4 Event Distances

7 yrs - 9 yrs 100m swim / 1.6km run
10 yrs - 12 yrs 200m swim / 1.6km run
13 yrs - 15 yrs 300m swim / 3.2km run
16 yrs and over 1km swim / 5km run

This is a fun social event for the whole family with all of the proceeds of the race donated to the Heart Foundation in honour of much liked past member Richie Walker.  In past years the race has donated in excess of $20,000 to the Heart Foundation and will continued to provide a small part of the much needed research funds.

REGISTRATION - from 8.00am at the North end of the Pavilion
