Cronulla Tri Club Junior Crew

Cronulla Triathlon Club has a comprehensive Junior program aimed at providing a fun, inclusive and motivating sporting environment. The program caters for kids aged from five years and up, with dedicated building blocks to help each Junior achieve their individual triathlon goals.

The Junior Crew is organised by three main Junior Coaches and supported by other coaches from either the club or Triathlon NSW. All coaches are accredited by Triathlon NSW.

For more information about our Junior Program, contact juniors@cronullatriclub.com.au Alternatively, contact one of our Junior Coaches, Erica Galea on 0409 021 973.

What our Juniors have to say about the program…

What I love about being part of the club is that everyone is really supportive. Everyone’s ability and level is taken into account, so everyone has fun. I’ve made some really good friends, who have a common interest. It makes going to training and events fun.

It’s been over 10 years since I raced my first STUathalon, from then right up until today I have been part of the brilliant Cronulla Tri Club juniors’ squad. I have been with the club longer than any other junior and most of the coaches. Throughout this time, I’ve been part of the Monday afternoon bike training, Wednesday night club runs, Saturday swim sessions, club triathlons and so much more. This is what I love about it and what has kept me part of the club for so long, so many diverse opportunities to be a part of the club and a part of the team. All of it put together by dedicated and tireless coaches who often have to give up their own training to help the juniors. Aside from the awesome races and training and the fantastic coaches, the other great aspect is my fellow juniors, many of whom I can call my friends. Since that first race I have met and trained with so many great people. People come and go but my triathlon friends are always there, and that is what I love about the Cronulla Tri club juniors.
